I am an artist/illustrator based in North Dakota USA. I've been creating art all my life, but after my 12 year photography career ended (my choice) in 2013, I really ramped up creating new art.
Photo compositing was my first interest and love. From simple to complicated concepts, Adobe Photoshop was/is my medium to create and explore.
I illustrated a children's book in 2018, and that opened me to the world of illustrating. A sample from that book is shown under the heading Commissioned Work. Since 2018 I have been exploring illustration and working to find my style. The digital illustrating has been done with Adobe Photoshop and my Wacom Cintiq.
Lately, I've been trying to get back to traditional mediums like pencil and watercolor. After discovering Copic Markers, they've become my favorite. Not sure where I will land in traditional mediums, or "analog art" as I like to call it, but I am having a blast rediscovering my roots.
